The T41 is a stable top performer across the board featuring blazingly fast Pentium M 1.7Ghz Processor, plenty of hard drive space with standard 60G hard drive with available upgrade to 80G, above average battery life and top notch construction. Comments: Very nicely made, adequately powerful machine for running XP. The memory is easy to expand (I added a Crucial 1 GB DDR 2700 SO-DIMM to get to 1.5 GB) and took me about 30 seconds. The 1400x1050 screen is beautiful and very bright (it is hard to find a nice, non-glossy, non-widescreen display these days). The 7200 rpm hard drive is also a great feature and increases speed significantly. Great keyboard and multiple pointing device options built in. 802.11g and bluetooth built in is a bonus. A GREAT deal at this price.

Comments: I mostly use my computer for the following tasks: Business presentations, office applications, and internet.
The feature that mattered to me most when making my decision was: Durability at a affordable price.
With regards to size, weight, performance, battery life, display quality, etc.,
I LIKE the quality of the following about this laptop: The T41 is very light and thin. The 1.7 CPU with 512 ram is very fast and the screen resolution options are impressive. I really like the preloaded Presentation Director, it takes all the guess work out of setting up a projector. The configuration utilities are awesome, they give you total control over this laptop. I also like the fact the IBM links are preset for you, I was able to find all my manuals and updates with a click of the touch pad. The unit arrived in perfect condition, I thought this baby was brand new, very nice.
The following improvements should be made to the laptop: think IBM got it right on the money with this model.
I would recommend this laptop to anyone who: is in the world of sales and wants a fast, reliable, computer.
For the price, this laptop is: the best bang for the buck. You don't have to go out and spend $1500.00 for a business notebook. I was glad that I took the time (2 weeks) and did the research, Laptop Brokers have the best inventory and pricing.

Comments: Deal of the century, to get a Thinkpad notebook with all these features and extras for $600. I comparison shopped for price and features for a couple weeks, and know that I found the best value: IBM's T41 is fast and professional, wifi card already installed, plus docking station and extended battery included! The 1.7ghz Pentium M processor is really fast. I use my laptop constantly, for work all day with office applications, and then at night at home for email, chat, music, photos, etc. My notebook is an extension of myself, and I was excited to be able to upgrade to a Thinkpad without breaking my wallet. The T41 from what I researched is known for lasting a long time, and for long battery life, and I agree with both of those. I will never go back to the cheap Compaq/HPs again, my notebook is too important.

Comments: I've been told I am rough on my notebooks, someone recommended this IBM Thinkpad T41 to me. I did my homework and it is known as one of IBM's flagship classic laptops. Durable, versatile, lightweight, high quality notebook. Thinkpads in general are fine laptops, never met anyone unhappy with their IBM Thinkpad. I was also advised to find a notebook I could upgrade, save the money and add more RAM myself, and it was very simple to do, a couple of screws and it snaps right in. This deal at laptopbroker.com includes the docking station, first time I have had a docking station, it sure makes life easier not dealing with plugging and replugging everything. All in all, a sweet deal, great value, all around notebook.

Comments: I bought this Thinkpad T41 for my son last month, it is my second IBM T41 notebook. The T41 is a well crafted machine, one of IBM's best laptops. Something important to look for is the ability to expand up to 2gb RAM, which this T41 has, and is easily done inexpensively. The notebook is light, long lasting battery, wireless card installed, and 80gb is large enough for my son to store all his music. I have recommended this Thinkpad to several friends, an outstanding value. Lots of computer for very little money, and it will last.
Ming Lee from Oakland, CA

Comments: I found my IBM T41 Thinkpad to be a fantastic laptop, 1.7ghz and 1Gb RAM is really fast. I think 80Gb memory is even more than I need, but was only a little more than the T41 notebook that had 60Gb. I like the Thinkpad, it feels like a professional notebook, well made. CD Burner burns CDs pretty fast, wifi ready, bluetooth ready. The battery lasts much longer than my boyfriend's laptop (his is not IBM). I use my Thinkpad daily for school and for work, very happy with it.

Comments: This IBM Thinkpad, the T41, is a very popular Thinkpad, I read a lot of notebook reviews before buying this, and settled on this T41 because of the positive reviews and excellent value. It's fast, reasonably lightweight, clear display, bluetooth ready, plenty of memory, and ability to expand. I use my laptop daily, in and out of my home, so I needed something durable and inexpensive. Laptopbroker.com seemed to have this T41 in every configuration possible, I am thrilled with the speed at 1.7Ghz, it is really fast, and 60Gb is enough memory for ALL of my pictures, haven't even put a dent in it. There are $2500 IBM notebooks out there with more memory and faster processors, I am quite thrilled to save the money and get a really fast laptop with everything I need. The notebook was packaged professionally and arrived quickly, works perfectly, I am a happy Laptopbroker customer.

Comments: This is a great notebook for the price, this IBM Thinkpad T41 is a durable and fast laptop. To get this caliber of laptop (a Thinkpad!) for under $500 is a steal. I was not specifically looking at the IBM Thinkpads, I thought they were out of my budget, but at this price, you can't beat it. It is pretty light too, a great all around notebook. I recommend getting the upgraded extended life battery, they offered one compatible with the T41 for only $40, I did and I get around 6 hours battery life, it really increases portability. It arrived fast, in excellent condition, has been working perfectly. I recommend looking at their off-lease notebooks as a way to save serious money, I got much more computer than I could have afforded and with the warranty I am very pleased. Laptopbroker.com is a smooth operation, I will be buying again.

Comments: Now this is a deal, IBM Thinkpad T41 Laptop for $469, this laptop is one of the best laptops ever made. This IBM Thinkpad T41 is loaded, Centrino 1.7 Wireless G/B, bluetooth, DVD CDRW drive. It is lightweight, build to last, high resolution 32MB SXGA display. Cannot ask for more, I bought mine with a dock and an extended life battery, still a great deal. Laptopbroker sent me a like new IBM Thinkpad T41 shipped it the same day I ordered and I had it 3 days later. Get yourself one of these T41's before they are all gone.

Comments: This laptop ( IBM Thinkpad T41 ) is probably one of the best IBM ever did-- this thing can't be killed! I just passed mine onto my daughter for school. I'm going to be upgrading to one of the T60 or X60 models, but if you want something that will last hours on the battery and take a beating, I highly recommend this machine. -KP

Comments: Out of all of the different Lenovo Thinkpad machines that are available for
purchase at IBM, the T41 is definitely one of the better models. As far as
the technology goes, the thing that makes the Lenovo Thinkpad T41 Model so
great is the fact that all around it is a generally very versatile computer
laptop. The general versatility is then improved on through changes to the
hardware specifications for the laptop and this is what we find in this
particular model. The processor is modest but adequate and the combination
of hard drive space and random access memory space allows you not only to
get business work done very quickly, but also to enjoy the combo CD/DVD
drive that happens to come with the unit.
For being a good all around system, this particular T41 model gets a five
star rating

Comments: Oh my IBM Thinkpad T41 is a godsend. IBM has really created the best of both world with a super powerful Centrino Processor and a highly durable light weight laptop/Notebook. It has given me the ability to travel, and have the power of a desktop where ever I am. This unit has the high end 32MB video card, a CDRW DVD optical drive, wireless BG and Bluetooth.

Comments: I mostly use my laptop when traveling. The T41p has great screen resolution, crisp play in the keys, good speed, and the standard battery supports 3 3/4 hrs of use when writing and running computational models, and 2 3/4 hrs. when viewing a DVD -- exceptional battery life given the preowned nature of the unit. The unit was in great condition.

Comments: I run an accounting service as a home business and I needed a nice computer that looked professional that I could take to client offices. I've seen this model (Thinkpad T41) at different customers of mine, so I tried it.
The thing I like the most is the battery life!! I bought the version with the extended life battery, and I can use literally all day on the extended battery! I don't have to carry the AC adaptor with me like my old computer.
The "combo drive" (which is really a DVD drive that also burns regular CDs) also makes it really easy to burn copies of database files for my clients while I am at their location.
This is a nice computer that I am happy with and would recommend. The folks at LAPTOPBROKER were also very friendly (thanks for your help, Darryl!)

Comments: I have been a fan of IBM Thinkpads for a long time. The T series has been the flagship for IBM. I wanted to buy a T41 for a while, I decided to look on Google to see if I could fine one at a reasonable price, low and behold I found it on Laptopbroker.com, at a great price. I bought the T41 with the extended life 9 cell battery, becasue I travel a lot and like to watch movies while on the plane. It lasts forever, about 4 hours. Shopping, buying, asking questions were all a pleasure on laptopbroker. I got a cool free USB pen drive, and a great laptop at a great price. Get yourself one of these IBM Thinkpad T41's, you will not be disappointed.
