Q: Are the computers new?
A: YES - many are new, and we also offer corporate off-lease computers. Laptop Broker works with Manufacturers, Retailers, Corporate Buyers and Government Agencies to locate top-quality, "business class" hardware at competitive prices. We offer a mix of brand new, open box, off-lease, and corporate surplus merchandise to suit your computer needs. ALL computers are covered by a comprehensive Warranty.
Brand new and open-box merchandise is in perfect to near-perfect condition and waiting for a new home. Brand new computers include all original packaging and manuals. Open-box merchandise usually includes original packaging and may include manuals. All brand new and open-box items include a Manufacturer Warranty or Supercheck® Certified Warranty.
Corporate off-lease and surplus merchandise is our best value. We are fortunate to have relationships with large Corporations and Government Agencies who buy top-quality, state-of-the-art computers, but sometimes buy more than they need (for a variety of reasons: employee turnover, restructuring, downsizing, technology initiative change, etc). Laptop Broker buys these premium computers and individually inspects, cleans, refurbishes and Supercheck® Certifies them with a new warranty. ALL work perfectly.
Corporate Surplus items are in near-perfect cosmetic condition
Corporate Off-Lease items will show marks or signs of storage and handling depending on age (a $400 computer more so than an $800 computer).
Shipping
Q: How much is shipping?
A: In order to ensure the safe delivery of your purchase, all items are packed in protective, cushioned boxes and shipped via US Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx with tracking and insurance. Costs can vary by item, and in general..
Ground Shipping is only $9.95 flat-rate for all laptop, accessory and iPod orders! Larger items, like monitors and desktops, may incur a special handling fee, which will display below the "Add to Cart" button on product detail pages.
Air Shipping rates are $39.95 ($30 more than ground). Please also keep in mind that air shipping for larger items, like monitors and desktops, may have a special handling fee - this additional fee will be displayed on that products page.
Q: How will I know when my order has shipped?
You will be notified via email once your order has shipped, and can track the status anytime at your My Account page.
Q: Where do you ship to?
A: Domestic shipping is available to every part of the country serviced by our carriers. We do not currently ship to Canada or International Destinations.

Q: What are my Payment options?
A: During your secure checkout, you may use any of the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. We also accept MoneyBookers® and Google Checkout®.
Q: Do you charge tax?
A: As required by law, we must collect Maryland state sales tax for orders shipped to addresses within Maryland. If you are government or commercial organization with a valid state sales tax exemption status, please contact customer support for details on processing your exemption.
Returns
Q: How do I return a purchase?
A: If your purchase requires repair, it can be serviced by the manufacturer or by Laptop Broker in accordance with the applicable warranty details.
If your purchase is less than 30 days old and you wish to return it for a refund you may do so after contacting our RMA Request Center. Due to the delicate nature of our equipment and need to thoroughly re-evaluate every return, a 20% inspection and restocking fee will be assessed for each return.
